A former Calgarian who now calls Edmonton home, Megan began her EMS education after previously studying music at the University of Lethbridge and earning a Diploma in General Studies from Lethbridge College. She received her PCP certification from NAIT in 2015 and has worked full-time in emergency operations as a PCP since 2016, as well as putting in two years with the City of Leduc as a casual Firefighter/PCP. Following her graduation from the ACP program at Northern Lakes College in 2020, Megan joined the Community Paramedic team in Edmonton in 2022 and works casual out of all four ACAA bases. In her free time, she can be found enjoying the outdoors hiking, camping, biking, running and golfing, or curled up with a good book and together with her husband doting on their two cats Jack and Molly. Megan looks forward to finishing her degree, travelling, trying new hobbies, and embarking on new adventures.
