Originally from Vancouver Island, Leanne began her career in 2008 as a PCP with BC Ambulance Service. She earned her ACP certification from Holland College in PEI, her CCP certification from Creighton University in Nebraska, and is working on her bachelor's degree in Health Sciences. Leanne has worked at a number of northern oil & gas and mine sites, as an ACP for Fast Air in Manitoba, as a CCP in Yellowknife, and as an ACP for AHS and Banff EMS. Leanne now calls Cochrane home and works casual at all the ACAA bases, where she loves the work and the people that she’s met. Married with two young boys, what free time Leanne has she enjoys spending with family, snowboarding, hiking and travelling. Long-term goals include building her education and knowledge base, continuing to travel the world, and spending time in Hawaii.
