Andrew originally hails from Nanaimo, BC, but now calls Sherwood Park, Alberta home. Andrew holds bachelor’s degrees in Education and Kinesiology, and earned his ACP at Portage College in 2016. He’s a full-time Firefighter/Paramedic for Strathcona County Emergency Services, as well as an ACLS, PALS, ITLS and BLS Instructor. He earned his CCP in 2017, and followed that up by taking the certification program at the STARS Critical Care and Transport Medicine Academy in 2018. Working with ACAA allows him to utilize the critical care training and collaborate with different levels in healthcare to provide to best treatment possible for patients. Married with twins, and with everything else he has on the go, free time is at a premium but he still finds time to work out, mountain bike, camp and play some hockey and lacrosse. Andrew’s long-term goals include getting into medicine and continuing to grow as a practitioner.
